I am a 2018 graduate of Ohio University with my Associate’s Degree in Business Management Technologies. I found my love of dog grooming in 2020 by completing the Paragon Pet School program. My top priorities are giving pets a loving environment and making them feel and look fantastic. I spend most of my days hanging out with my husband, Joshua, and our two dogs, Violet and Kylo Ren. My hobbies are cooking, reading, and painting, from canvas to apparel.

I am a 2019 graduate of Vet Tech Institute at Bradford, where I earned an Associate’s Science Degree in Veterinary Technology. I joined the Perplex team in March 2021. Currently, I have an old lady Coonhound named Millie, a Cyclops Kitty name Cornelius, a funny bunny named Hamilton, and my small mixed herd of four cows (Rhonda, Duchess, Blossom, and Beulah). When I am not working at Petplex, I work on the family farm with my Dad. I always knew I would choose a career that involved working with animals. The most rewarding part of being a vet tech is helping animals be happy and healthy.
I look forward to giving your furry family the best healthcare I can provide.

I am a 2019 graduate of The Ohio State University. I graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Animal Biosciences with aspirations of someday becoming a veterinarian. I recently applied to the OSU DVM program and am impatiently waiting for a response. I joined Petplex in October 2019 and currently work as a Veterinary Assistant. I am a dog mom to Marlee (yellow lab mix), a cat mom to Tina, and a chinchilla mom to Luna. My family also has three other dogs named Axel (Shih Tzu), GiGi (German Shepherd), Link (lab/shepherd mix), and multiple barn cats. I love the work I do here at Petplex and cannot wait to meet all your furry friends!

I graduated from the Vet Tech Institute at Branford Schools in December 2019 and started here at Petplex shortly after. Even though I was fresh out of tech school, the staff gave me a place to learn and grow as a technician. Early the following year, I passed my VTNE and am now an RVT. I live in Columbus with one cat, Eevee, and one of my friends from tech school. People are a great place to gain experience and knowledge and see many exciting things you wouldn’t see at a regular clinic. In a few years, I see myself in specialty medicine, where I’ll get to use everything I learned from Petplex.

I am a registered veterinary technician at Petplex Animal Hospital. I graduated from Columbus State Community College with an Associate’s Degree in Veterinary Technology in May 2019. I passed my VTNE shortly after. I have always been fascinated with animals and have owned many different species growing up. I like to hang out with my dogs, read, and do various crafts in my spare time. My goal is to specialize in Emergency and Critical Care as well as Clinical Practice. I would like to broaden my skills and knowledge as a veterinary technician.

My name is Ashley. I graduated from Penn Foster College with an Associate of Science Degree. I am a registered veterinary technician. I have worked for Petplex Animal Hospital since 2015. I started as a receptionist while going through school, then moved up to a technician after graduation. I have five pets: one dog, two cats, and two rats. I am also a momma to three children – two boys and one girl. I enjoy exploring the outdoors with my family and doodling in my spare time.

I am a 2018 graduate of the Vet Tech Institute at Bradford School. I grew up on a horse farm for most of my life, where my love for all animals started. I have always had a love for helping animals and a passion for helping pet parents give the best to their pets! I currently have two dogs (Teddy and Shiloh), two cats (Bo and Pearl), and one horse (Will). My animals are my family, and I believe that every animal is precious and deserves the chance at a long, happy, healthy life. This is why I went into the veterinary field – to help educate pet parents and to help give pets the best care possible. I have already met many pet families at Petplex that have impacted my life, and I can’t wait to meet many more!

I am a 2017 The Vet Tech Institute graduate with an Associate of Applied Science in Veterinary Technology. I interned here at Petplex Animal Hospital and started working soon after. I have loved animals since I was a little kid and never wanted to do anything else. I live with my five dogs: Jack, Bear, Lucky, Ruger, Khloe, and my cat, Vin. I am interested in continuing my education to study zoology and wildlife. Client education is very important to me, and I strive to educate pet owners. They have all the tools they need to be responsible and loving pet owners!

I recently graduated from the Vet Tech Institute in March 2016, obtaining an Associate’s Degree in Veterinary Technology. I have always had a love and passion for animals! I currently own one dog of my own, Nashville. I enjoy being in the sun with my family and friends in my spare time. Over the years, I hope to gain the knowledge and experience to be the best technician I can be!

I am a registered veterinary technician at Petplex Animal Hospital. I graduated from Columbus State Community College with an Associate’s Degree in Veterinary Technology in May 2015. I began working at Petplex a couple of months after I graduated and passed the veterinary technician national exam in December 2015. I wanted to be a veterinarian when I was young, but I changed my mind as I got older when I learned about all of the things that technicians get to do. I grew up with dogs and had a couple of hamsters and beta fish. I rescued an Australian Kelpie mix from the Humane Society in 2009 named Tyson. I am excited to expand my knowledge in exotics and pocket pets and learn more about how to keep our furry friends healthy and happy.

My name is Allie, and I’m a Veterinary Nurse at Petplex. I graduated in 2013 with an Associate’s degree in Veterinary Technology and passed my national board exam soon after. I joined the Petplex team after I graduated and have been here ever since. My primary areas of interest are surgery, emergency, and neonates. I’ve been an animal lover since I was a child. I grew up “in a barn,” so to speak, as I have been riding horses since I was three years old. I frequently rescued kittens, caught crawdads in the creek, brought home snakes, and snuck out of the house to hang out with the horses. I reside in Newark with my husband, our two cats, William and Fiona, our dog, Biloxi, and our beta fish, Lochlan.
Additionally, I have two horses (Mocha and Paris) and two farm kitties (Lightning McQueen and Sparrow.) When I’m not at work or the barn, I enjoy teaching yoga, hiking, wine tastings at any Ohio winery, and spending time with loved ones. I look forward to meeting you and your furry family members!

I am a 2011 graduate of the Vet Tech Institute at Bradford School with an Associate Degree in Veterinary Technology AND have successfully passed the Veterinary Technology National Exam (VTNE). Petplex has allowed me to specialize in animal behavior and obedience training using positive reinforcement methods. I enjoy teaching group and individual behavioral modification classes to help build a solid human-animal bond. I was an active 4-H member for 12 years showing lambs, pigs, and steers. I currently reside in the country with my chihuahua, Lexi, and two rescue boys: a beagle mix, Henry, a pitbull, Godric, and two rescue cats. I have always had a passion for animals and training. I enjoy my job and look forward to giving back to the animals and the community.

I live in Thornville with my loving husband, Mark, and our only son Ace. I have three cats: Selene, Blue, and Bella, and two dogs: Maverick and Loki. I love working here at Petplex and look forward to helping you and your furry family member(s) as much as possible.

I am a 1997 graduate of The Ohio State University College of Veterinary Medicine. I have been practicing veterinary medicine for 20 years and have had the opportunity to work on large and small animals and various exotic pets. Petplex Animal Hospital opened in November 2003, and I have enjoyed the generous support of the Buckeye Lake community. We moved into our current facility in March 2010 and have been excited to be able to offer our clientele improved services.
I grew up in a rural community similar to Buckeye Lake and enjoyed spending time in the summer on my grandparent’s farm. I have always had various pets (dogs, cats, etc.) and spent much of my childhood working with livestock and horses. These experiences have always drawn me toward the field of veterinary medicine and helped me appreciate the human-animal bond. I am pleased that my staff and I can provide exceptional care for the pets in our community. As we get to know our clients, it becomes more and more evident that the pets we see are more like family members and that when they hurt, we hurt too. We always treat our patients with the same care and concern we would want for the loved ones in our lives.

I graduated from The Ohio State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Zoology in 1993, followed by a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree in 1997. I live in Granville, where my husband and I have raised/are raising four wonderful children. We have three pets, which all add to the fun and excitement of the busy household. They include Ziggy, an intelligent and athletic nine-year-old Viszla, Sweetie, a pleasant nine-year-old cat who came to us as a stray kitten, and Frisco, a frisky kitten we adopted from the animal shelter last summer.
I like many aspects of veterinary medicine but am particularly interested in preventative medicine, internal medicine, dermatology, and dentistry. I can practice a higher quality of treatment since Petplex Animal Hospital is built on a solid foundation of doctors and support staff. I am surrounded by a group of knowledgeable, dedicated, and compassionate individuals, which leads to great client relationships and patient care. I have enjoyed meeting many wonderful clients and their pets over the past years and look forward to meeting many more!

I am an Ohio native and grew up on a small family farm in eastern Ohio. Veterinary medicine was something I was drawn to from a very young age. I graduated from OSU with my undergraduate studies in Biology and Animal Sciences in 2007 and a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine in 2013. My journey in veterinary medicine has been nothing short of an adventure. In addition to companion animals, I have also worked with livestock, zoo and wildlife, and in biomedical research.
I joined the team at Petplex in 2017. My favorite part of working at Petplex is offering a higher level of care thanks to advanced diagnostics and treatment options that are not available in most general practices. I enjoy all aspects of my job but find the challenging cases rewarding. I also want to see companion farm animals, including chickens, goats, and potbelly pigs!
I currently reside in Pataskala with my husband and our two wonderful children. Our fur kids include two dogs, one cat, three pygmy goats, and three chickens – we refer to it as our funny farm. During my free time, I enjoy being outdoors and active, listening to live music (especially country!), trying new restaurants, and spending quality time with family and friends.

I joined Petplex as an Associated Veterinarian in Spring 2018. I finally settled in Ohio after bouncing around the east coast a bit, earning a Bachelor’s Degree in Animal Science from Virginia Tech before attending veterinary school at The Ohio State University. Growing up near my grandparents’ Pennsylvania farm, I spent lots of time developing my interest in veterinary medicine with farm and equine veterinarians. My professional focus is Internal Medicine, and I’m currently Petplex’s resident Feline Friendly Practitioner. I live in Blacklick, OH, with my family and pets. My favorite hobbies include fishing, gardening, woodworking, and trying in vain to keep my cat off the dining room table.

I enjoy all aspects of general practice and have developed particular interests in preventative medicine and soft tissue surgery. I have a passion for client education and promoting the human-animal bond.
In my spare time, my husband and I like to hike with my dogs, Zoey and Hudson, visit new restaurants around Columbus, watch football (Go Bills and Ravens!), and catch up on Netflix shows.

I am the acting practice manager and have worked here at Petplex since we opened in November 2003. I have worked in the veterinary field for 30 years. This area has been my home since 1981. I have a daughter, Amanda, who is my best friend. We have two horses, Charm and Aria, who we call the “Big Kids” of the family. We also have four cats. Our oldest cat, Hecate, is around 15 years old, and our youngest, Misumi, is five years old. We have two Scottish Terriers. Hairy Potter is all black and is going to be ten years old. He is my buddy and goes everywhere with me. Freya Rose is our newest addition, who is wheaten in color. She brings us joy all the time. When I am not working, I enjoy traveling, cooking, reading, and time with my family.

I am a 2022 graduate of The Ohio State University College of Veterinary Medicine. I grew up internationally in Guatemala, Kenya, India, and Zambia, and witnessed the importance of veterinary care from a very early age. I received his undergraduate degree in biology at the College of Idaho before pursuing a veterinary career and attending OSU. As a veterinary student, I was selected for the Stanton Scholar program where I had the opportunity to serve local communities and practice veterinary medicine in high-need areas. I also obtained a graduate minor in business for the health sciences. I am excited to be a member of the PetPlex team and enjoy surgery, dentistry, and learning all he can about veterinary medicine. I live with my wife, Arianna, and hound dog, Honey, in Pickerington. We enjoy traveling, hiking, backpacking, horseback riding, and eating ice cream.
